Web-Presence Creation Course for Helpers

This web designing and creation class surpassed my expectations exponentially. Roy is knowledgeable and able to teach a technically challenged therapist like myself, with patience but also with focus towards success. I love my new website.
Paul Rakoczy, Psychotherapist and Counselor

In private practice, you need a website. Whether it’s a therapy site or a coaching website, part of getting clients is having your own place on the Web where potential new clients can follow up on a referral to you, find you via a search engine, get your intake forms or other downloads, or whatever services you put on your website.

The conventional approach is to hire a professional to do all aspects of the process for you. This can be costly and, in my opinion, no longer necessary in this modern world. Therapy sites, counseling sites, and coaching websites are usually what I call “Web brochures.” They contain information about the business behind them and don’t usually have a lot of bells and whistles. The Web has finally matured to a point where we don’t always need to hire a technologist to make such a site. We can be the technologists ourselves.

In this class, over the course of 6 lectures each attendee will build their website on their own power with the assistance of an experienced professional, namely Roy Huggins (that’s me.)

Attend Remotely Over The Web or Live In Person

In-person classes are in downtown Portland. However, there is a webinar-based remote version of the class, as well!

Those who attend via webinar will do a 20-minute, one-on-one orientation session with the instructor before the course begins. In the orientation we’ll make sure your equipment is working right and get you oriented to the webinar software.
